Author Winfield Rasmussen, 75 of Melrose, NM died Friday, December 18, 2009 at his home following an illness. He is survived by his wife Alana of Melrose, NM. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements are under the direction of Chavez Funeral Home in Fort Sumner.
