Theodore Madrid, age 50, passed away November 30, 2005 at the Guadalupe County Hospital following an illness. Theodore was born February 16, 1955 in Clovis, NM to the home of Jose Isabel and Fermina Romero Madrid. He was reared and attended schools in Santa Rosa. Theodore participated in the Job Corps for several years and worked at various restaurants in Santa Rosa. He loved to walk and play the guitar. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Michael Madrid and Alex Madrid, sisters; Lupe Madrid and Josefita Madrid, niece; Natasha Serrano, nephews; Julian Madrid, Jr. and Daniel Roger Sanchez. Survivors include his brothers and sisters; Felipe Madrid of Clovis, Dicky Madrid of Santa Rosa, Maida Sandoval and husband Richard of Vega, TX, Corrine Garcia of Earth, TX, Marie Bachicha and husband Antonio of Santa Rosa, Rita Sanchez and Felipe Tenorio of Tecolotito, Julian Madrid of Santa Rosa, Jose I Madrid and wife Virginia of Peralta, NM. Also surviving are his daughters; Georgina Madrid and Esmeralda Madrid both of Brownsville, TX, grandchildren; Thalia Madrid, Michael Madrid, Natasha Madrid, Alondra Olguin, Florancio Olguin and Luisa Olguin, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Rosary services will be conducted on Friday, November 11, at 2:00 PM from Chavez Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 11, at 11:00 AM from St. Joseph Cemetery with Deacon Jerry Duenes officiating. Serving as Pallbearers will be Antonio Bachicha, Jr., Benji Madrid, Joaquin Bachicha, Joshua Duenes, Jerry Madrid and Manuel Madrid. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be the rest of his nieces and nephews. All services are entrusted to the Chavez Funeral Home of Santa Rosa.
