Everet E Muncy

Everet E. Muncy, age 87, passed away on April 3, 2009 at his residence following an illness. Everet was born on February 2, 1922 on a ranch near Jal, NM and attended schools in Eunice, NM. He married Ida Garton on April 8, 1960 in Taos, NM. Everete Ranched in the Taos and Guadalupe County area for many years. He was an active member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses since 1958. He loved ranching and always said “I want to die with my boots on” He loved teaching people that the earth will be a paradise by means of God’s Kingdom. He is preceded in death by his wife Ida in 2007, his mother Sally in 1972 and his father John Perry Lee in 1945. Everete is survived by his daughter Polly Robinson and her husband Chano of Santa Rosa and by more friends that most of us get in a lifetime. Memorial services will be held on May 2, 2009 at 3:00 PM from the National Guard Armory in Santa Rosa. All services are entrusted to the Chavez Funeral Home of Santa Rosa. www.chavezfuneralhome.com
