Ronald L. Griego, age 42, passed away on November 3, 2005 at Albuquerque Regional Medical Center following an illness. Ronny was born August 9, 1963 in El Paso, TX to the home of Jose Alejandro and Irene Espinosa Griego. Ronny was a very honest, loyal and kind hearted to a fault. He loved his family with all his heart unconditionally just like his mom did. You always could tell when he was up to something when he would get this silly mischievous crooked grin on his face and the little spark in his eyes. He loved long walks, the mountains and being outdoors. He was always going to thrift stores and estate sales looking for treasures, usually for everyone else because if he saw something that reminded him of someone in the family he would get it and save it for them. Ronny was the kind of person that if he thought you needed it more than him, it was yours. He made friends wherever he went, and once he decided that your were his friend, it was forever. Ronny will always be loved and never forgotten. He is preceded in death by his mother Irene Griego. Survivors include his father Alex Griego of Vaughn, his brothers and sisters, Steve Chavez and wife Monica of Vaughn, Michael Griego and wife Edna of El Paso, Della Sarabia and husband Alfred also of El Paso, Tina Griego of Vaughn, Dina Martinez of Santa Rosa and Johnny Ray Griego and wife Matilda of Encino. Also surviving is his girlfriend Geri Saiz of Albuquerque, stepdaughter Rhiannon Davis and step grandson Jyron Davis, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
