Ruben Ortiz

Ruben Nick Ortiz, 33 of Tucumcari, NM was called to be with the Lord on February 2, 2009. He was born January 8, 1976. He is survived by three sons; Dominick, Adrian, Simon and one daughter, Brooklynn all of Tucumcari, NM; his mother JoAnn Montano of Tucumcari; two sisters Jeanette Torres of Tucumcari and Ernestine Ortiz of Gilbert, AZ; Gabriel Ortiz of Tucumcari and Joshua Ortiz of Midland, TX and his grandmother Rosalie Montano of Albuquerque. Ruben was preceded in death by his father Ernesto “Black” Ortiz; grandparents Adolfo and Antonia Ortiz and Nick Montano Jr., a nephew Isaiah, and brother-in-law Kevin Torres. Ruben will be missed by his family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 11, 2009 from the First Spanish Baptist Church in Tucumcari with Rev. Cecil Chavez officiating. Burial will follow at Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mary Ellen, April, Karla Dawn, Vera, Candace, Felicia and Crystal. Honorary bearers will include Brian, Jo Jo, Frankie, Shawn, Joseph, David, Lencho, Patrick and Paul. Visitation will be held at the First Spanish Baptist Church, 623 E.
