Nicole Rael

Nicole Yvonne Esmeralda Rael, age 25, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 30, at the Guadalupe County Hospital following an extended illness. Nicole was born May 22, 1983 in Santa Rosa to the home of Gloria Rael and Raymond Duran. She was reared and attended schools in Vaughn. Nicole attended Vaughn Schools and worked as a Home Health Aide. She loved dressing up her daughter and taking care of her family. She is preceded in death by her father, Raymond Duran, a sister; Samantha Rael, maternal grandparents; Augustine and Esmeralda Rael, paternal grandparents; Paul and Sally Duran, her uncles; Ray Rael, Gilbert Rael, Joe Rael, Albert Rael, Alfred Rael, her aunt; Julia Rael, Cousin; Erick Rael and her step-father Ace Aragon. Survivors include her daughter Jasmine Rael, her mother; Gloria Rael of Vaughn, her brother; Adrian Aragon of Vaughn, Godparents; Pete and Yvonne Zamora and Archie Rael; uncles and aunts; Henrietta and Ernie Garcia, Johnny and Virginia Rael, Rick and Rita Rael, Pat and Audrey Rael, Kevin Rael and Josiah, Helen and Rudy Martinez, Alex and Ruth Rael, Lucarol and Sam Apodaca, Linda Rael and Maria Rael Cruz. Rosary services will be held on Sunday, November 2, at 7:00 PM from St. Mary’s Church in Vaughn. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 3, at 11:00 AM also from St. Mary’s Church with Father Steve Sanchez officiating. Burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery in Vaughn. Serving as Pallbearers will be Adrian Aragon, Juan Rael, Jr., Lawrence Padilla, Jr., Ronnie Rael, Archie Rael and Rachel Rael.
