Gilbert Tenorio

Gilberto Tenorio, age 75, was born May 30, 1930 in Tecolotito, NM to the home of Felipe and Amada Tenorio, he passed away on September 8, 2005 after a long illness. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Jose Tenorio, Abran Tenorio and sister Rosa Sanchez. Gilberto is survivied by his wife of 55 years, Maria Corina Tenorio of the family home in Santa Rosa, his brother Juan Tenorio and his sister Conrada Saiz and husband Fidel, his children; Maximiliano Tenorio and wife Yolanda of Santa Rosa, Frank Tenorio of Santa Rosa, Veronica Zeller of Amarillo, TX, Agneda Tenorio, Cristobal Tenorio and wife Kate of Santa Rosa, Agnes Tenorio of Clovis, Betty Goins and husband Richard of Amarillo, TX, Anna Damon and husband Joseph of Albuqueruqe, Rudy Tenorio and wife Sonia of Santa Rosa, Levine Tenorio of Milagro, NM, Lee Tenorio and wife Vanessa of Santa Rosa and Herbert Tenorio of Santa Rosa. Also surviving are 29 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of realtives and friends. Gilberto ranched in San Miguel and Guadalupe County for may years. He was employed by Moody Brazil and ranched at Borica, NM for 22 years. He and his wife Corina were self employed and sold flagstone for a number of years. They raised their family of 12 children between the ranches in Tecolotito and Borica. Serving as Pallbearers will be his grandsons; Frankie Tenorio, Levi Spriggs, Michael Tenorio, Timothy Spriggs, Jonathon Tenorio, Jacob Tenorio, Max Tenorio, Jr., John Wilson, Jerimiah Wilson and Steven Tenorio. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Ernesto Gallegos, Christian Sisneros, Andres Baca, Benito Baca, Flavio Larranaga, Henry Jaramillo, Fidel Saiz and Richard Gonzales. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 12, 2005 at 10:00 am from the National Guard Armory in Santa Rosa. Burial will follow at the family Cemetery in Tecolotito, NM All services are entrusted to the Chavez Funeral Home of Santa Rosa.
