SERVICES:2PM Friday, Apr. 20, 2007 Shiloh Cheyenne Starr Northrup, age 7 of Melrose, NM died Saturday, April 7, 2007 in an automobile accident north of Melrose. Shiloh was born December 2, 1999 in Clovis, New Mexico. She was a First Grade Student at Melrose Elementary. She loved to ride horses, read, paint, and play basketball and soccer. She participated with Play Inc. Sports. She enjoyed singing and could talk for hours. Shiloh kept up with daily events and would watch the news and read the newspaper daily. Her favorite TV program was Animal Planet. Shiloh loved her family and her church family where she attended AWANAS. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Edward Cecil Northrup; her aunt Elaine Abeyta and cousin Candace Abeyta; and an aunt Ina Broughton. Survivors include her parents Ronald and Patricia (Northrup) Lunn; a sister Victoria Northrup; two brothers Roby Northrup and Cordell Northup all of Melrose; her maternal grandmother Dorothy Northrup of Melrose and paternal grandfather Wayne Lunn of Tucumcari. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5PM to 7PM at First Baptist Church in Melrose. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, April 20, 2007 at the Melrose School Old Gym. Burial will follow at the Melrose Cemetery with Rev. Durward Wofford officiating. Pallbearers will include Toby Bostwick, Jim Bob Allen, Paul Grider, Gary Hollaway, Scott Dickerman and Gary Dickerman. Honorary bearers will be the First Grade Class at Melrose Elementary and the Little Buff’s Basketball team. All arrangements are under the direction of Chavez Funeral Home, 804 N.
