Felix Strzelewicz

Felix Casmir Strzelewicz, age 76, of Vaughn, NM died Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at the New Mexico Veterans Administration Medical Center in Albuquerque following an extended illness. Felix was born January 18, 1932 in Niagra Falls, NY to the home of Felix and Sophie Strzelewicz. Felix served his country in the United States Marines where he served in Korea. He was a long time resident of Vaughn where he was active in the Senior Citizens and St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Felix enjoyed woodworking. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include two sons; Casey and wife Debbie Strzelewicz; Joseph Strzelewicz; the mother of his children Zola Strzelewicz; close friends Linda Montoya, Lily and Flavio Sanchez of Vaughn who helped care for him. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Kira, Kurtis and Sophia Straelewicz. As per Mr. Strzelewicz wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service with burial of cremains will be held in Vaughn at a later date. All services are under the direction of Chavez Funeral Home of Santa Rosa. www.chavezfuneralhome.com.
