Theodore Sena

November 30, 1963 — September 14, 2003

Ted Sena, 39 of Roswell, NM died Sunday, September 14, 2003 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center following a sudden illness. Ted was born November 30, 1963 in Roswell to the home of Theodore C. Sena and the former Rosa Aragon. He was raised and attended school at Roswell. Ted worked as a building carpenter for several years with Paul Teel Construction in Clovis; he also worked as a meat cutter at Clovis and with Swift Packing in Dumas, Texas for several years. Ted worked for a few years in the oil fields at Pampa, TX. He also enjoyed doing auto body repair, working on his cars, low riders, and attending car shows. Ted was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Roswell. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Mike and Cleofas Aragon and his paternal grandparents Theodore and Gertrude Sena. Survivors include his companion Della Gonzales of Roswell; his parents Theodore and Rosa Sena of Clovis; four step-children Destinie, Desiree, Phillip, and Cassandra of Roswell; three daughters Yvette Garcia and husband Miguel; Delilah Huerta and husband Antonio all of Newton, Kansas; and Monique Woods of Phoenix, AZ; two grandchildren Aliyah Garcia, and Taliah Huerta; three sisters Lucille Page and husband Curtis; Patty Trujillo and husband Mike of Clovis; Stephanie Estrada and husband Joe of Roswell, NM; two brothers David Sena; and Michael P. Sena and wife Tina of Clovis. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Rosary services will be held at 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 16, 2003 from St. Anthony Catholic Church in Fort Sumner; Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 17, 2003 from the church with Father Sotero A. Sena officiating, and burial will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Andy Sena, Mark Aragon, Mark Armijo, Eric Armendarez, Phillip Jaramillo, James Gonzales, Tony Gonzales, and Victor Baca. Honorary bearers will include Allan Page, Curtis Page, Johnny Rodriguez, Abel Garza, Joseph Estrada, Joe Albert Baca, Leroy Trujillo, Shawn Sigala, Eric Baca, Alex Trujillo and all his many friends and neighbors. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 1PM to 6PM at Chavez Funeral Home, 804 North Fifth Street; Fort Sumner, New Mexico.
