A memorial service for Nathan Paul Alirez, 20, is scheduled for 7:00PM, October 23, 2003, at Church of God of Prophecy in Roswell with Pastor Lawrence Sanchez officiating. Funeral services for Nathan will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2003 at 1:00 from the First Baptist Church in Corona with Pastor Cal West officiating. Nathan passed away October 18, 2003 at 505 E. Fourth St. The family will be receiving family and friends at 622 E. Cherry and at his grandma Carmen's in Corona after the services. Nathan was born November 1, 1982 in Fort Riley, Kansas to Paul and Liza Alirez. He was a resident of Roswell for 14 years. Nathan was a man with a smile on his face. He loved to laugh and always made others laugh. He never pretended to be someone he was'nt. He loved music and people. He is survivied by his children Arian and Diego Alirez 2 1/2 years old and his little "Mimi" Emily Elizabeth Alirez, six months old, they were the light of his life; his mother Liza Alirez, his father Paul Alirez, brothers Arthur, Isaac and Matthew Alirez, sister Angelica Alirez, grandmothers Lucy Miranda and Carmen Romero, grandfather Victor Montoya, Jr.; uncles and aunts Jesse Montoya, David and Bernadine Montoya, Juan and Tina Moncayo, Ricky and Yolanda Montoya, Danny and Deneen Romero, Anthony Romero, Jesse Romero, Michael and Jenny Romero, Chris and Maria Dearing, Lon and Alvina Holleyman, Joann Holleyfield, George Romero, Felipe and Carmen Villescas, Perfie and Sadie Miranda, Manuel and Rosa Miranda, Eloy Miranda, Mary Sanchez, Lillie Chavez, Fred and Connie Lueras and Nita Alirez. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Tony Romero, Michael Romero and Joseph Quintana, Don't think this is the end for me. Sing joyful praise to the skies because my soul has been set free and I've gone home to paradise. In this state on heavenly peace, where I now claim my life's reward, where tears and pain and sorrow cease. Face to face beside my Lord. Nathan will be dearly miss by all who knew and loved him. All services are entrusted to the Chavez Funeral Home, 923 South 3rd St. Santa Rosa, NM.
