Walter R. Graham

Walter R. Graham, age 71, of Fort Sumner, New Mexico, passed away October 10, 2003 at Laurel Ridge Health Care Center in Clovis, NM. Walter was born April 11, 1932 in Gregory, Arkansas to Erma Florence Dodd and Walter R. Graham. He worked for many years as an electrician in the Fort Sumner area. He married Inez M. Brockman on April 12, 1997 in Fort Sumner. Walter was a member of the Church on the Hill in Fort Sumner. He was preceded in death by her parents, his first wife Nora Carpenter Graham, and his second wife Inez Graham. Survivors include a step-daughter LInda Hopkins and four stepsons; Jim Brockman, Joe Brockman, Mike Brockman, and Ed Brockman all of California. Cremation has taken place. Graveside Memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, October 13, 2003 from the Fort Sumner Cemetery with Rev. Anna Teeter officiating. The family prefers memorials to the Church on the Hill, P.O. Box 467, Fort Sumner, NM 88119 or the Fort Sumner Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 180, Fort Sumner, NM 88119. All arrangements are under the direction of Chavez Funeral Home, 804 North Fifth Street; Fort Sumner, New Mexico.
