Odila Luna

Odila Luna, age 80, a resident of Albuquerque and former resident of Puerto De Luna, passed away on January 30, 2008, and is now in heaven with our Lord. Mrs. Luna is the beloved mother to J.S. Luna, Christine Lopez, Daniel Luna, Susan Luna Guinn, Linda Luna, Charles Luna and Angela Luna. Mrs Luna is also survived by three sisters; Julia Gerhardt, Helen Shutco and Patsy Gensler; two brothers, Henry Gerhardt, Ben Gerhardt and wife Paulina; many sisters and brothers in law; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A rosary will be recited on Monday, Febraury 4, at 7:00 from the Gabaldon Mortuary in Albuquerque. A second rosary will be recited on Tuesday, February 5, at 6:00 PM from Nuestra Senora de Refugio Church in Puerto De Luna. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, Febraury 6, at 10:00 also from Nuestra Senora de Refugio Church with Father Nick Nichols officiating. Burial will follow at Nuestra Senora de Refugio Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers will be Lawrence, Isaac, Mark, Chris, Lorenzo and Gabriel. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Arthur,Leandro, Hugo, Noel, Santiago, Joseph, Leonel, Louie, Steven, Michael, Brandon and Jessie. Local arrangements are under the Chavez Funeral Home of Santa Rosa.
