Frank M. Page, age 73, passed away peacefully at home, February 26, 2003, surrounded by his family and friends, after a year long courageous battle against Cancer. Frank was born in 1929 to Louis and Anna Page. He proudly served his country in the United States Army Air Corps from 1946 to 1949. Frank worked for the Railroad from 1951 to 1991, having worked all over the Southwest, mainly in New Mexico, and retired from the Railroad in 1991. He was a faithful member of the Catholic Church being active at St. Bernadette in Albuquerque, St. Rose de Lima in Santa Rosa, NM., and Santo Nino de Atocha in Cuervo, NM. Frank will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.Frank was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and one brother. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Flora; his seven children, Ray and wife Karen, Mary and husband Henry, West and wife Linda, Debra and husband Jake, John Page, Peggy and husband Jeff, Theresa and husband Dino; 13 grand children; 1 great grandchild; two sisters, Ramona Cook and husband Charlie, Mida Sheehan and husband David; two brothers Louis Page and wife Marlene, Arthur Page and wife Corrine. A rosary will be recited at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Albuquerque, 11401 Indian School Rd. NE. at 7:00pm on Saturday, March 1, 2003. A second rosary will be recited at St. Rose de Lima Catholic Church in Santa Rosa, 444 S. 4th ST. at 7:00pm on Sunday, March 2, 2003 led by Deacon Charlie Martinez. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Fr. Stephen Schultz, Monsignor Sipio Salas, and Deacon Arsenio Sanchez on Monday, March 3, 2003 at 11:00 AM. Burial with military honors provided by his son-in-law and grandson will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Santa Rosa. Pallbearers will be Ray Page, West Page, Henry Kight, Dino Storey, Jake Barkemeyer and Jeff Holt. Honorary pallbearers will be Vernon Houston, Art McCarthy, Patricio Cruz, John C'Vopa, Will Lucero, Deacon Al McClain, Deacon Charles Martinez, and all of his friends from the Railroad. The family would like to thank the all of the many friends and family who supported and visited Frank this last year, and all throughout his life.
