Michael Christopher Henry

November 20, 1967 — June 27, 2005

Michael Christopher Henry entered peacefully into rest with our Lord on June 27th, 2005 with his mother and family by his side. Michael was born in New York City on November 20, 1967 to Nina and Richard Henry. Michael’s education began in Paris, France until the age of 11 when the family returned to New Mexico. He attended school at Our Lady of Fatima, St. Pius, and the University of New Mexico. He was involved in translation of language text and tutored students in French and Spanish. Michael had a great “joie de vie”. He enjoyed playing guitar, tennis, swimming, and spending time with his close friends and mom. His love for people of different cultures prompted him to travel extensively. He also had a great love for animals, especially cats. He was a free spirit with a generous heart. He will be sorely missed by all who loved him and his cat, Minon. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Richard Henry, his brother, Pierre-Francois Henry and two very close friends from St. Pius. He is survived by his mother, Nina Henry and his extended family members. A Rosary will be recited Thursday, June 30, 2005 at 7:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Anton Chico, New Mexico. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, July 1, 2005 at 11:00 AM also from the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Anton Chico, NM . Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Anton Chico. Local services entrusted to Chavez Funeral of Santa Rosa. Please visit our website at www.chavezfuneralhome.com for online condolences.
