Benito Joe Aragon, age 54, of Clovis died Friday, April 4, 2003 at Plains Regional Medical Center following an illness. Benito was born June 19, 1948 in Anton Chico to the home of Hilario and Dulcinea Romo Aragon. He worked construction and was a rancher for most of his life. Ben enjoyed his horses, ranching, arrowhead hunting and eagles. He was a resident of Clovis for the past 5 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers Bruno and Rick Aragon. Survivors include a daughter Kathy Aragon of Santa Rosa, two sisters Modesta Navarro of Clovis, Candelaria Lucero of Anton Chico, two brothers Secundino Aragon of Santa Rosa and Billy Aragon of Tijeras. Also surviving are numerous nieces, and nephews along with a host of relatives and many friends. Rosary services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Sunday April 6th from St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Santa Rosa, NM. Mass of Chiristian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 7th at 10:00 A.M. the Church with Father Stephen Schultz officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Santa Rosa. Pallbearers will include Ted Lucero, Jamie Lucero, Joe Navarro, Cecilio Chavez, Bruno Romo and Gerald Romo. All services are under the direction of Chavez Funeral Home 923 S.
