Ronald John Gutierrez

Ronald (Ronnie) John Gutierrez, age 48 was born August 23, 1959 in Santa Rosa, NM and died June 7, 2008 in Tucumcari, NM. Born to the household of Richard, Sr and Mary R.Gutierrez. Ronnie attended St. Rose of Lima Parochial School then onto Santa Rosa Public School system where he graduated in 1978 from Santa Rosa High. Ronnie graduated from Tucumcari Job Corp in 1984 and continued working in the Tucumcari area as a plumbing journeyman. He moved back to Santa Rosa and worked for many years at the T&D Market and subsequently retired due to his health condition. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Frank and Candelaria Gutierrez, maternal grandparents Leandro and Ignacita Pacheco, uncle Antonio Luis Pacheco and sister Kandi Yvonne Gutierrez. He is survived by his parents Mary and Richard Gutierrez Sr. of Las Vegas, NM, sister, Elizabeth Audrey Gallegos and husband Arturo of Albuquerque, brother Richard L. Gutierrez Jr. and wife Rhonda of Santa Rosa, sister Annette A. Gutierrez of Clovis, brother Randall A. Gutierrez and wife Delores of Edgewood, oldest son Ronnie Eugene Gutierrez Jr. of Clovis, and daughter Jazzmin Ann Rose Bentacu of Albuquerque. Surviving nieces and nephews include: Manuel Alarcon, Anissa and Rochelle Gutierrez, Jamie Holden, Brandon Gutierrez, Cherie and Natasha Gutierrez, and Brooklyn Aragon. Rosary services will be held on Thursday, June 12, at 7:00 from St. Rose of Lima Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 13, at 10:00 AM also from St. Rose Church with Father Nick Nichols officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers will be, Tommy Martinez Jr., Jerry Romero, Mike Romero, Manuel Alarcon Jeffery Encinias, & Manuel Dodge. Honorary Pallbearers are Bee Valverde, Joe “Yogi” Garcia, and the Santa Rosa High Class Of 1978.
