Eulah Eunice Spencer, 91 of Taiban, NM died Thursday, December 18, 2003 at Kingman Regional Medical Center in Kingman, Arizona. Eulah was born April 17, 1912 in Daysboro, Wolf County, Kentucky to the home of Morgan and Mary Elizabeth (Cruey) Spencer. She made her home in Wolf County, KY until 1918 when the family moved to Floyd, NM. The family later made their home at Elida, NM until moving to the ranch south of Taiban in 1938. Eulah worked with her family on the ranch for many years. She made her home at the Pecos Valley Care Center for several years before moving to Kingman in August 2003. Eulah was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers Willie Marion Spencer, Andrew Campbell Spencer, Martin Luther Spencer and Woodie Willard Spencer; three sisters Bertha Alice Cussack, Sarah Ellen Vancleve, and Nina Rebecca Spencer who died on April 6, 2000. Survivors include a sister-in-law Margaret Spencer of Kingman, Arizona and several nieces and nephews including Dr. Cruey Spencer of Kingman, AZ. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Saturday, December 20, 2003 from the Chavez Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Sumner; burial will follow at Elida Cemetery, Elida, New Mexico.
