Katherine Hickman

Katherine Hickman died Saturday, March 27 at her home in Fort Sumner. She was born June 15, 1928 in Rbswell, NM the daughter of Kenneth and Zell (Cummings) Kendall. She was reared and attended schools at Roswell and Cedarville. She married Anderson Plez Hickman on March 9, 1944 in Fort Sumner. She was a home maker. The longtime Roswell resident made her home in Fort Sumner in 1986. She is survived by her husband, Anderson Plcz Hickman of the home in Fort Sumner; two sons Larry Randol Hickman and Keith Arnold Hickman both of Roswell; seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, three brothers Wyman Kendall, Donnie Kendall, and Kent Kendall all of Roswell. A gathering of family and friends for Katherine Hickman, 70 of Fort Sumner, was held from 2PM to 3PM Wednesday, March 31, 1999 at Chavez Funeral Home in Fort Sumner. Visitation was held Wednesday from 1 PM to 6PM. Cremation has taken place followed by interment of cremains at Fort Sumner Cemetery.
