Ramona S Ulibarri

Ramona S. Ulibarri, age 89, passed away peacefully April 26, 2004 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Ramona was born May 5, 1914 in San Ignacio, NM to the home of Dolores and Sofia Gallegos Salas. She married Jose F. Ulibarri on June 30, 1930. Ramona loved her family especially her grandchidren and great grandchildren. She never forgot any of their birthdays and always had a gift for them. She was a loving mom, grandma and nana and will truly be missed by all. Ramona is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jose, her son Jimmy Joe, her granddaughter and great granddaughter Joan and Jenna Estrada, her brothers and sisters E.G. Salas, Joe Salas, Miguel Salas, Adan Salas and her sister Mary Rivera. Survivors include her daughters Julia Ulibarri, Sophie Griego and husband Pablo all of Santa Rosa, her son Nick Ulibarri and wife Trancy of Albuquerque, her daughter in law Delia Ulibarri of Santa Rosa, her sister Anita Lopez of Santa Rosa. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Rosary services will be held on Wednesday evening at 7:00 from St. Rose of Lima Church with her grandsons Chris and Jose Pablo Griego leading in prayer. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 AM also from St. Rose Church with Father Nick Nichols officiating. Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Joseph Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers will be Chris Griego, Steven Griego, Bruce Lopez, Fredi Lujan, Marcos Salas, Gerald Rivera and George Rivera. Honorary Pallbearers will be all her great grandchildren.
