Frank Lopez

Frank Flavio Lopez, age 83, died April 21, 2007 at Kaseman Presbyterian Hospice in Albuquerque, NM following an illness. Frank was born April 8, 1924 in Puerto De Luna, New Mexico to the home of Celestino and Margarita (Zamora) Lopez. He served in the United States Army from 1943 through 1945. Frank married Nancy Bishop in 1963. He worked for many years in Los Angeles, CA for Firestone Tire Company and later as a Machinist for the Frontier Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. He enjoyed boating and fishing. Frank is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Nancy, two brothers Lorenzo Lopez and Juan Lopez and one sister Eva Dodge. He is survived by three brothers; Celestino Lopez of Littlefield, TX; Joe Lopez of Sparks, NV; Clemente Lopez of Rio Rancho and a sister Emma Vigil of Superior, AZ. Also surviving is his special nephew, John Lopez and wife Vivian of Santa Rosa along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of relatives and friends. At Frank's request cremation has taken place and private interment of cremains will be held at a later date in Kingman, Arizona. All services are entrusted to the Chavez Funeral Home of Santa Rosa.
