July 23, 1957 — April 26, 2003

Mary Gwendolyn Sena, 45 a resident of Amherst, Texas died Saturday, April 27, 2003 at her home following an extended illness. She was born July 23, 1957 in Roswell, NM to the home of Myron Eugene Morris and the former Melbalene Ruth Benton. Gwen attended and graduated from Fort Sumner High School She worked as a medical records clerk in a physician’s office before joining the Teeter Insurance Agency in Fort Sumner. Gwen enjoyed reading her bible, cooking, gardening and caring for her minature donkeys and her cat. Gwen was a loving mother, and Sister and Friend. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include two sons Eugenio Sena of Lubbock ,TX; and Christian Sena of Amherst, TX; the children’s father Edward D. Sena of Santa Rosa, NM; three sisters Myra Gail Morris of Lubbock, TX; Margo Evrinidis of Apex. North Carolina; LIbbye Belgrade of Sterling, VA; and one brother Myron Lee Morris of Bullhead, City, Arizona. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 30, 2003 from The Church on The Hill in Fort Sumner, New Mexico with Rev. Anna Teeter officiating. Burial will follow in the Morris family plot, Fort Sumner Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Larry Roybal, Mariano Mares, Richard Gonzales, Simon Lucero, Lee Koll, and Jonel Goodman. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1PM to 6PM at the funeral home.
