Celina Fajardo

Celina Fajardo, age 81, born in San Ignacio on March 26, 1923, to the home of Victoriano & Lucinda Fajardo. She was a lifelong resident of Puerto de Luna and Santa Rosa, went home to be with our Lord peacefully after an extended illness, on Saturday, March 27, 2004. She is survived by a son and two daughters, Richard Goins and wife Betty of Amarillo, TX; Linda Chavez and husband Joe Robert of Edgewood, Debbie Archibeque and husband Joseph of Albuquerque. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jennifer Anderson and husband Scott, Candace and Naomi Goins, all of Amarillo, Vanessa Baca and husband Julian of Santa Rosa, Brian Chavez of Edgewood, Brandon and Brittani Archibeque of Albuquerque; two great grandchildren, Mason and Alexia of Amarillo, two sisters, Nora Padilla of Albuquerque, Dolores Solano and husband John of Amarillo, her dear and beloved mother-in-law, Alicia Apodaca of Santa Rosa and by many neices and nephews. She is preceded in death by her partner of 14 years, Sam Apodaca, her parents Victoriano and Lucinda Fajardo, her brothers, Juan, Victoriano, Doroteo, Jose and by a sister Celina. She was a member of Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Santa Rosa, a member of the Sacred Heart Society and was also a Foster Grandparent for the Santa Rosa Consolidated Schools. Rosary Services will be prayed Monday, March 29, 2004 at 7:00 PM from the Saint Rosa of Lima Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday morning at 10:00 AM from the Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church with Fr. Nick Nichols Officiating. Serving as Pallbearers are; Joe Robert Chavez, Joseph Archibeque, Andy Solano, Larry Padilla, Rayne Padilla and Victor Padilla. Serving as honorary pallbearers are; Brian Chavez, Brandon Archibeque, John Solano and Julian Baca.
