Juan Benito Rivera

Juan Benito Rivera, age 76, passed away October 4, 2002 at the Arkansas Manor Nursing home in Denver, Colorado. Juan was born January 16, 1926 to the home of Juan Rivera and Eufemia Arrellanes. He worked as a ranchhand in Wyoming and Colorado for many years. He was a longtime resident of Denver, Colorado. Survivors include his sister Vera Velsasquez of Santa Rosa and Half Brother Hector Rivera also of Santa Rosa and half sister Erlinda Martinez of Albuquerque. Rosary services were held on Monday evening at 7:00 from the Chavez Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 from St. Rose Church with Father Stepehen Schultz officiating. Burial followed at St. Joseph Cemtery. All service were entrusted to the Chavez Funeral Home of Santa Rosa.
