Kandi Y Gutierrez

Kandi Yvonne Gutierrez, age 27, passed away unexpectedly on November 24, 2004 in Santa Rosa. Kandi was born June 24, 1977 in Fort Sumner, NM. She was reared and attended schools in Santa Rosa. Kandi worked at numerous restaurants in Santa Rosa and was currently working at the Golden Dragon Restaurant. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Leandro Pacheco, paternal grandparents Mr.and Mrs. Frank Gutierrez, uncles, Louie Pacheco and Severo Aragon and her cousins Peter Gutierrez and Lucy Gutierrez. Survivors include her daughter Brooklyn Marie Aragon, parents, Richard and Mary Gutierrez of Santa Rosa, sisters, Elizabeth A. Gallegos of Albuquerque and Annette Gutierrez of Clovis, brothers Richard Gutierrez, Jr., and wife Rhonda of Santa Rosa, Ronnie J. Gutierrez of Tucumcari, Randal Gutierrez and wife Delores of Edgewood and Manuel Alarcon of Albuquerque. Also surviving is her fiancee, Jack Wu of Santa Rosa, numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and a host of relatives and friends. Rosary services will be conducted on Monday, November 29, at 7:00 PM from St. Rose Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 30, at 10:00 AM also from St. Rose Church with Father Nick Nichols officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers will be Ernest Chavez, Michael Romero, Wilfred Saiz, Alfred Saiz, Marc Salas, Manual Alarcon and Gilbert Chavez. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be all her nieces and nephews. All services are entrusted to the Chavez Funeral Home of Santa Rosa.
