Johnny Alfred Gerhardt, Jr., age 43, passed away December 3, 2002 in Ruidoso, NM. Johnny was born February 9, 1959 in Albuquerque, NM to the home of Johnny and Carolyn Roller Gerhardt. He was reared and attended schools in Albuquerque graduating from Highland High School. He attended Tarlton College in Stephenville, TX, Howard Pane University in Brownwood, TX and ACU in Abilene, TX. He received his Bachlors degree in Social Services. He was presently serving as a Counslor in Ruidoso. Johnny loved deer hunting and playing the guitar. He is preceded in death by his Father Johnny Gerhardt, Sr. and his sister Connie Dowell. Surivivors include his daughter Danielle Gerhardt of Albuquerque, his mother Carolyn De Santiago of Jacksonville, AR, his sisters Annie Crisp of Ward, AR, Brenda Twining of Austin, AR and Karen Rebholz of Wabash, IN. Also suriviving are numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and a host of friends. Mass of Chrstian Burial was held on Saturday, December 7 at 9:00 am from Our Lady of Refuge Church in Puerto De Luna. Burial follwed at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery in Puerto De Luna. Serving as Pallbearers were Mark Twining, Bradley Urbach, Joe Gerhardt, Frank Gerhardt, Pat Gerhardt, Bill Gerhardt, Robert Campos, and Michael Romero. All services were entrusted to the Chavez Funeral Home of Santa Rosa.
