Edna Iva Perkins

Edna Iva Perkins, age 92, passed away November 30, 2002 at Los Amigos Health Care Center in Santa Rosa, NM. Edna was born May 9, 1910 in Lincoln, Minnesota to the home of Robert Noah and Iva Mae Palmer Sargent. She was reared and attended schools in Grand Junction, Colorado. Edna married Robert Perkins on April 24, 1931 in Albuquerque, NM. She made her home in Santa Rosa in 1969. Edna was a member of the First Baptist Church of Santa Rosa. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Perkins, a brother Allen D. Sergent, and her sister Marjorie Zenor. Survivors include her 3 daughters Lorene De Toro and husband Bob of Fairfield, CA, Bobbie Harrison and husband Douglas of Santa Rosa and Dorothy Roberts and husband Jerry of Muskogee, OK. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral Services were at held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 3, 2002 from the First Baptist Church in Santa Rosa. Burial followed at Evergreen Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers were Lee Harrison, Dubbs Harrison, Ralph Harrison, Bobby Harrison, Merle Guinn and Jake Autry. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Santa Rosa. All services were entrusted to the Chavez Funeral Home of Santa Rosa. www.chavezfuneralhome.com
