Pelagia Delgado

Pelagia Delgado, 93, passed away December 27, 2002. Mrs.Delgado was born on May 5, 1909 in Peurto De Luna, NM to her parents Justo and Eulaila Lopez. Mrs.Delgado was prceded in death by her husband Willie Delgado, Sr. in 1973. She is survived by her six children Beatriz Mares and husband Carmel , Fofa O'Grady and husband Barry, Maria Emma Delgado, Willie Delgado Jr. and wife Yvonne, Phillip Delgado, Alfredo Delgado and wife Ana. Grandchildren, Cecelia Mares and husband Bill Woodard, Regina Jaeger and husband Bob, Renee Rios and husband Ed, Rebecca Delgado, Alfredo Delgado, Jr., Una Woisin and husband Troy, Guillermo Delgado and wife Shannon and Cruzita Ana Delgado. Great grandchildren, Brittany and Nathaniel Jaeger, Gabrielle Rios, Cory Edward, Joshua William and Noah Christopher Woison, Joseph William Delgado and Breana Delgado. Pelagia was a very caring person and will be missed very much by every heart she touched. Rosary services will be recited on Sunday evening, December 29, at 7:00 PM from St. Rose of Lima Church in Santa Rosa. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 30, at 10:00 AM also from St. Rose Church with Father Stephen Schultz officiating. Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Joseph Cemetery in Santa Rosa. Serving as Pallbearers will be Alfredo Delgado, Jr., Guillermo Delgado, Bob Jaeger, Nathaniel Jaeger, Ed Rios, and Troy Woison. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Carmel Mares, Berry O'Grady, Celso Garcia and Bill Woodard. All services are entrusted to Chavez Funeral home, 923 South 3rd St., Santa Rosa, NM (505)472- 3369.
