Rosa M Gomez

Rosa Gomez, age 86, passed away March 6, 2007 at her residence in Santa Rosa following an illness. She is preceded in death by her husband Guadalupe R. Gomez on July 8, 1965. Rosa is survived by her children; Fred Gomez and wife Pita of Albuquerque, Chris Gomez and wife Maida of Santa Rosa, Wilfred Gomez of Albuquerque, Alfonso Gomez of Santa Rosa, Gilbert Gomez and wife Faby of Santa Rosa, Richard Gomez and wife Jeanie of Santa Rosa, Georgia Gomez of Santa Rosa, Deborah Lopez and husband George of Puerto De Luna and Danny Gomez and wife Cindy of Rio Rancho. also surviving are 29 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Rosary services will be held on Wednesday, March 7, at 7:00 PM from Chavez Funeral Home Chapel. A second rosary will be recited on Thursday, March 8, at 4:00 PM from St. Rose Church in Santa Rosa. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 9, at 10:00 AM also from St. Rose Church with Father Nick Nichols officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
