Barbara Ann Fuller, 71 of Fort Sumner, NM died Tuesday, May 4, 2004 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. Ann was born September 20, 1932 in McAdo, Texas to the home of George W. Shaw and the former Julia Beatrice Boren. She was reared at Fort Sumner, NM where she attended and graduated from High School. She married Glenn E. Fuller on July 22, 1958 in South Carolina. They made their home in Fort Sumner in 1980 to care for Ann’s. mother. Ann was an artist, she enjoyed oil painting, and ceramics. She taught ceramics at the Fort Sumner Senior Citizens Center. She also enjoyed gardening, motorcycling, and traveling across the U.S. She was preceded in death by her parents; and an infant daughter Barbara Eileen. Survivors include her husband Glenn of the home in Fort Sumner; a step-son Richard Fuller and wife Linda of Orange, CA; a step-daughter Debra Stefan of Henderson, NV; two brothers George C. Shaw and wife Evelyn Sue and Robert M. Shaw all of Clovis, NM. Two grandchildren Eric and Heather also survive. Cremation has taken place and no local services are planned. The family prefers memorial contributions to the charity of one’s choice. All arrangements are under the direction of Chavez Funeral Home in Fort Sumner, New Mexico.
