Sarah Chavez

Sarah Maria Flores De Chavez, age 75, born October 23, 1942 and passed away on November 17, 2017. She is the daughter of Toribio Sr. and Alicia Salazar Flores. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Toribio Jr, Patrick, sister: Merlinda, her precious nephew Christopher Flores, loving nieces: Roxanne Flores and Gina Anaya-Encinicas. Sarah is survived by her loving husband Victor Chavez, her sisters Martina Anaya (Horacio), Maggie Ivie (Bradford), Sylvia Medina, Cecilia Delgado (Danny), brothers: Ramon Flores (Elvida), Lorenzo Flores (Emma), Johnny Flores (Hope), Tony Flores (Melanie), her sister in laws: Grace Flores, Angelina Flores, special nieces Catherine Flores Gurule (Francisco) and Christine Flores (Aaron) and numerous relatives and friends. She was very caring and will be missed by all her family. Sarah was born in Puerto De Luna and attended Puerto De Luna Elementary School and later graduated from Santa Rosa High School. Sarah enjoyed the special attention of all her brothers and sisters, nephews and nieces and was very devoted to her husband Victor. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 21, at 10:00 AM from St. Rose of Lima Church with Father Sotero A. Sena officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery Serving as Pallbearers will be Tony Flores, Gerald Anaya, Robert Chavez, Daniel Delgado, Jose Flores, Bobby Chavez. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Lorenzo Flores, Adan Delgado, Justin Anaya and Angelo Anaya. All services for Sarah have been entrusted to the Chavez Funeral Home.
