Amy Mason

Amy Jane Mason, 96 of Fort Sumner passed away at her home Saturday, November 11, 2017 following an illness. She was born September 15, 1921 in Lubbock, TX to the home of D.A. and Ivylu (Looney) Atkins. Mrs. Mason worked for many years as a bookkeeper. She is survived by three children, daughters Leslie Burge, and Amanda Miller (Kent) of Fort Sumner and a son, Darrel Mason of Albuquerque, seven grandchildren Mariah Mason of Illinois, Linette Miller (Ronnie Archuleta) of Phoenix, Emile Winchester (Charles) of Marietta, OK, Ross Miller of Fort Sumner, Masy Scott (Clint) of Lubbock, TX, Lori Burge, and Loren Burge along with 8 great-grandchldren. The family requests memorial contributions in lieu of flowers to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch, 600 SW 11th Avenue, Amarillo, Texas 79101. Cremation will take place, no local services are planned.
