Narciso Olguin, 83, of Anton Chico, NM passed away peacefully at his home on September 27, 2017 following an illness. Narciso was born on September 26, 1934 in Anton Chico to the home of Narciso and Apolonia (Castillo) Olguin. Narciso was a cowboy who loved horses; he was a gardener and loved to build adobe homes. He was good to everyone he met and enjoyed the company of his many friends and family. He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Horacio Olguin, nephew Horacio Olguin, Jr. and his younger brothers and sisters. Survivors include a brother Juan Olguin and wife Clara of Anton Chico, two sisters Marcella Martinez of Edgewood, Marcelina Baca and husband Juan of Dahlia and a sister in law Juanita Olguin of Anton Chico. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Rosary services will be held on Monday, October 2, 2017 at 6:00 PM from San Jose Church Catholic Church in Anton Chico. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 10:00 AM also from San Jose Church with Father Antonio Mondragon officiating. Burial will follow at the Sangre de Cristo Cemetery in Upper Anton Chico. Pallbearers will be Sonia Hern, Albino Hern, Elijah Romero, Chris Esquibel, Florencio Olguin and Jake Olguin. Honorary Pallbearers will be Camila Olguin, Yvette Hern, Lynn Hern, Blas Martinez, Abel Olguin, Felipe Romero, Gabriel Romero, Adolfo Romero, Bruno Romo and Margarito Romo.
