Dora Chacon

Dora P. Chacon, age 77, passed away on October 18, 2016 at the University Medical Center on Lubbock, TX following an illness. Dora was born on July 16, 1939 in Mosquero, NM to the home of Juan and Carolina (Pacheco) Sandoval. She was reared and attended schools in Tucumcari. Dora made her home in the Los Angeles, CA area in 1966 and worked at a Nursing Home as an aide for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed being around her family and going to yard sales. She made her home in Tucumcari three months ago. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers and sisters, Juan Sandoval, Vicente Sandoval, Adelina Cruz and Mary Brigida Uribe, her grandsons Eric Macias and Andrew Chacon. Survivors include her husband Albert Canseco, daughter Donna Chacon of Tucumcari, her sons Alfonso Chacon and wife Rosa of Fontana, CA, Dennis Chacon and wife Nancy of Los Angeles, CA and a granddaughter Michelle Cintron of El Monte, CA., brothers and sisters, Josie Martinez of Tucumcari, Sammy Sandoval of Amarillo, TX, Viola Pacheco of La Puente, CA and Mary Stella Montiel of Tucumcari along with 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends and realtives. Graveside services were held on Saturday, October 22, at 11:00 AM from The Tucumcari Memorial Park. Serving as Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
