Annie Archuleta, age 100 of Fort Sumner, NM passed away Saturday, February 6, 2016 in Albuquerque. She was born June 9, 1915 in Fort Sumner to the home of Jose and Isabel (Garcia) Pacheco. She married Jose T. Archuleta on September 10, 1934 in Fort Sumner. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Fort Sumner. Annie is preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons Bonnie Archuleta, Joe Ed Archuleta, and a son in law James "Bo" Garcia, five sisters, Nestora Salazar, Celestina Sena, Usevia Salguero, Isabel Reynoso, Pavla Villa, two brothers Juan Pacheco, and Monico Pacheco. Survivors include three daughters Mary Ann Archuleta, Geneva Garcia, and Bess Casaus all of Albuquerque and one sister Martina Gallegos of Clovis, NM along with 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and many friends. Visitation hours will be Monday form 11am to 5pm at the funeral home. A rosary will be recited at 6pm Monday, February 8, 2016 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Fort Sumner. Mass will be held at 11am Tuesday, February 9, 2016 from the church with Father Christopher Bernabe officiating. Burial will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Michael Archuleta, Ronnie Gonzales, Ben Casaus, Brad Archuleta, Berna Garcia, Daniel Gonzales, Gene Hidalgo, and Jonathan Hidalgo.
