Rosary services for Isaiah Luke Michael Thompson, age 19, will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 7:00 PM from St. Rose of Lima Church in Santa Rosa, NM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 12, at 10:00 AM also from St. Rose of Lima Church with Father Sotero A. Sena officiating; burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers will be Vicente Zamora, Luke Thompson, Ike Thompson, Marquis DuGan, Guy DuGan, and Justin Zamora. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Shane Madrid, Martin Garcia, Dwayne Velasquez, and Derick Chavez. Isaiah passed away on February 5, 2016 in Colorado Springs, CO. He was born on April 4, 1996 in Albuquerque, NM to the home of Ben Thompson and Cayetana DuGan. He was reared and attended schools in Santa Rosa and Moriarty. He made his home in Limon, CO a year ago. Isaiah loved playing video games and wanted to get his degree in computer gaming program, he loved his Ford F150 pickup and had a love for all animals and would often rescue strays and take them home with him. He was a member of the Puerto De Luna Volunteer Fire Department and was a manager for Subway. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Michael and Marta DuGan, his great grandparents, Simona and Cayetano Chavez and Marquis, Hatti DuGan, Lugarda and Enrique Zamora, Harold and Helen Thompson. Survivors include his parents, Andres and Pepper Zamora of Santa Rosa, his father, Benjamin Thompson of Pueblo, CO, his brother Daniel Thompson and wife Rebecca of Pueblo, CO, his nephews Devin and Dematri, his grandparents Ken and Rachel Thompson of Pueblo, CO, Andy and Susie Zamora of Santa Rosa, great grandmother Paula Salcido of Colonias, NM, his Uncles and Aunts, Ike and Jamie Thompson of Moriarty, Luke Thompson of Pueblo, CO, Tori DuGan of Moriarty, Marquis and Jennifer DuGan of Garland, TX, Guy and Desiree DuGan of Moriarty, Justin and Rebecca Zamora of Santa Rosa, Vicente and Latishia Zamora of Garfield, NM, his Godparents Dorothy Ipiotis and George Chavez along with numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and a host of friends.
