Graveside services for Barbara Landrum, age 68 will be held at 11am Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Fort Sumner Cemetery, Fort Sumner, New Mexico. Barbara passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Lubbock Heart Hospital following a sudden illness. Barbara Jean (Woollums) Landrum was born February 19, 1947 in Taiban, NM to the home of Jewel Arthur and Lennie Mae (Baker) Woollums. She attended school at Taiban and Fort Sumner. She graduated from Fort Sumner High School. Barbara served many years as De Baca County Tax Assessor. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Fort Sumner. She enjoyed reading tending to her house plants, watching movies, and caring for all animals especially her dog Ace and cat Mister. Barbara is preceded in death by her father Jewel Arthur Woollums in 1976, her mother Lennie Mae Woollums in 2005, and a sister Sandra Kay Jones in 1996. Barbara is survived by a grandson Vince Sena (Nicole) and family Mea and Haily of Fort Sumner, a niece Kellie Bruce of Lubbock, TX, two nephews Rick Bruce (Dena) of El Dorado, KS, Gary Bruce of Melrose, aunt Betty Wilton of Fort Sumner, four great nephews Travis Ward of Lawrence, KS, Garrett Bruce of Melrose, Derek Ward and Reid Bruce both of El Dorado, KS, and a good friend Rene Clemmons of Lubbock, TX along with a host of other relatives and many friends.
