Jerry J Gonzales

Jerry J. Gonzales, age 62, passed away on September 6, 2015 at the Guadalupe County Hospital following an illness. Jerry was born on March 13, 1953 in Anton Chico, NM to the home of Pablo Valencia and Felicita Jaramillo. He was reared in Anton Chico and attended schools in Anton Chico and Santa Rosa. Jerry married Yolanda Trujillo on March 14, 1999. He was a craftsman and loved making just about anything he could think of, he loved going for rides and carpentry. He was a mechanic and worked at McDonalds as well as construction. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Yolanda who passed away on October 30, 2014 and his Mother and Father in Law, Eli and Bitalia Trujillo. He is also preceded in death by numerous family members; Monico Jarmillo, Mela Maestas, Harold Lucero, Peter Lucero, Nick Cordova, Ramon Cordova, Pauline Alirez, Martha Rodriguez, Annabelle Cordova, Paula, Peter, Harold, Martin, Jose Martinez, Jr., Leroy Maestas, Gilbert Trujillo and Paul Gonzalez. Survivors include his Daughter; Sara Trujillo of Santa Rosa, his son; Leon Trujillo and wife Sara ofLas Vegas, NM, his grandchildren; Anna, Troy, Brooke and Francisco and his great granddaughter Jaylee. Also surviving are his brother and sisters; Terry Cordova of Clovis, Gabrielita Lucero of La Junta, CO, Mary Ann Aguilar of Santa Rosa, Antonia Marquez of Clovis, Magdalena Cos of California, Adelina Perea of Santa Rosa, Ana Valencia Velasquez of Anton Chico, Rick Valencia and wife Agnes of Anton Chico, Esther Velasquez of Santa Rosa,his sister in law, Debbie Trujillo, Brother in Law, Ramon Trujillo and a special niece; Rebecca Federico along with numerous nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Rosary services will be held on Thursday, September 10, at 6:00 PM from the Chavez Funeral Home. Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 11, at 10:00 AM from St. Joseph Church in Anton Chico with Father Antonio Mondragon officiating. Burial of cremains to follow at San Jose Cemetery in Anton Chico. Serving as Pallbearers will be John Cordova and Samples. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Eli Trujillo, Navor Selgado, Gene Garcia, Johnny Ray Cordova, Vicente Cordova, Randy Lopez, Jose Federico and Antonio Cordova.
