Bobbie Sue Beasley, age 78, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2014 following an illness. Bobbie was born November 14, 1935 in Booneville, Mississippi to the home of Lindsey and Josie Heavener. At the age of 18 she moved to Illinois where she married and had two daughters. Gwendolyn and Jacqueline. There she owned and operated a daycare and was an active member of the First Assembly of God Church in Cicero. In 1970 Bobbie and her daughters moved to Ripley, Mississippi where she opened a steakhouse and later a beauty salon. In the late 1970's she returned to Illinois where she worked at General Motors until her retirement. In 1991, Bobbie moved to Fort Sumner where she threw herself into gardening and landscaping. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and aunt. Bobbie is preceded in death by her parents Lindsey and Josie Heavener, a sister Gwyndolyn Mauney, and a brother Bill Heavener. Survivors include her two daughters, Gwendolyn Beasley and Jacqueline Hancock and her husband Lewis; three grandchildren, Jeff Hill and wife Candace, Amy Burcham and husband Clay, and Sarah Prash and her fiance Micahel Kirichuck; three great-grandchildren, Bella Hill, Lilly Hill, and Leah Burcham; a brother Joe Heavener and his wife Loyce, nephews, Benny Mauney and his wife Jessie, Fagin Mauney and his wife Mary Ann, Lee Mauney, Lindsey Heavener and his wife Laurie; and nieces Polly Duncan and husband Charlie, and Kimberley Heavener.
