Anthony “Tony” Gallegos, age 39, was born on September 24, 1974 and returned home to our Father on April 22, 2014. Anthony was the youngest son of Raymond and Janet Gallegos, He is survived by his loving parents, brothers, Victor Gallegos and wife Tracie, Lawrence Gallegos and his sister Christine Aragon and husband Dwaine. He was the best Uncle in the world to Victoria and Ray Gallegos, Luke and Meghan Proctor and Allie Davenport. He is also survived by his great nieces Ryleigh and Kyndall and great nephew’s Henry and Brennan. He is greatly loved and will be missed by all he left behind. Anthony graduated from Moriarty High School in 1993. He then attended New Mexico State University in Las Cruces. He had just celebrated his 15 year anniversary with the New Mexico Department of Transportation. In those 15 years, he not only touched many lives but dedicated himself to the wellbeing of those who traveled the roads he took such great pride in. Anthony never knew a stranger. All who knew him can say he left them with cherished memories and many a good laugh. Work, hunting, camping, karaoke and any other good time to be had, you were guaranteed that Tony would entertain the crowd. Anthony was a devout Catholic and beloved Nino to Ray Gallegos and Ethan Sheppard. The Lord truly Blessed us all by allowing him to be in our lives. Rosary services will be celebrated on Saturday, April 26, at 10:00 From Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Encino with Mass of Christian Burial to follow with Father Paul Nkumbi officiating. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery in Encino. Serving as Pallbearer will be Will Jones, Clay Harral, Adam Chavez, Fernando Chavez, Ernie Garcia and Isidoro Mora. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be the Vaughn NMDOT Patrol, Ray Gallegos, Dwayne Aragon, Dale Chavez and Adrian Chavez.
