Ramon Cordova

Ramon Onofre Cordova, age 35, passed away on February 10, at the Alta Vista Hospital in Las Vegas, NM following an illness. Ramon was born on May 24, 1978 in Fort Sumner, NM the son of Nicasio and Maria Teresa (Jaramillo) Cordova. He lived in Santa Rosa and Clovis before moving to La Loma. Ramon is preceded in death by his father Nicasio, his brother Nick Cordova, his sister Annabelle Cordova and his nephew Jose Martinez. Survivors include his mother Maria Teresa Cordova of Clovis, his brother and caregiver John Cordova and wife Arena of La Loma, brothers and sisters Esther Matta of Santa Rosa, Christine Sena and husband Gene of Clovis, Theresa Martinez and husband Jose of Englewood, CA, Antonio Cordova of Santa Rosa, Hector Cordova of Santa Fe and his sister in law Irene Cordova, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Rosary services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, February 15, 2014 followed by the funeral Mass of Christian Burial at San Jose Catholic Church in Anton Chico. Father Antonio Mondargon will officiate. Burial will follow at the San Jose Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Johnny Ray Cordova, Vicente Cordova, Sarah Matta, Andrew Chavez, Jr., Cipriano Martinez and Jose Martinez, Sr. All services for Mr. Cordova have been entrusted to the Chavez Funeral Home of Santa Rosa.
