Linda Luna

Linda Luna, age 70, passed away on January 1, 2014 at the Guadalupe County Hospital following an illness. Linda was born on September 14, 1943 in Santa Rosa, NM. She was reared and attended schools in Santa Rosa. Linda married David Luna on April 14, 1962 in San Diego, CA. She loved to quilt and would meet regularly with the Blockheads Quilting Club. Linda would also show her quilts at various arts and crafts fairs. She also loved to sew, being on the computer and vacationing. Linda is preceded in death by her brother Richard Grant. Survivors include her husband David of the family home in Santa Rosa, her children, Larry Luna and Gene Luna of El Cajon, CA and Andrew Luna of Santa Rosa, her mother Margie Grant of Santa Rosa, her brothers and sisters Glenda Velasquez and husband Rudy of Albuquerque, Anna Mae Garcia and husband Jessie of Albuquerque, Russell Grant of Santa Rosa, Robert Grant and wife Karen of San Diego, CA and Raymond Grant and wife Pam of Salem, Oregon. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 11:00 AM from El Calvario Cemetery in Puerto De Luna with Mr. Lorenzo Delgado officiating. A reception will be held immediately after the services at the Puerto De Luna Senior Citizens Center. All services for Mrs. Luna have been entrusted to the Chavez Funeral Home of Santa Rosa.
