Donald Ross Linville, age 84, passed away at St. Johns in Albuquerque, NM. His wife Brentye Linville and hospice were at his side. Don was born in Waco, TX to Rosemary Shipp Linville and Winfield Flint Linville on May 16, 1928. He attended and graduated from Highland Park Schools in Dallas, TX. He served his country in the United States Army where he was stationed overseas. Don was a graduate of the University of Houston with a degree in Geology. He married Brentye Foster on January 22, 1966. He and his wife share many interests in their adopted home of Albuquerque, NM. He was a person that loved to read and kept in touch with family and friends through letters and phone calls. He had an interest in sports cars and antiques. He is survived by his wife Brentye Linville of Albuquerque, his sister Francis Linville Mcatee of Waco, TX, a brother lt. Col. Alan Linville of Waco, TX, nine nieces and nephews, cousins form both sides of the family and friends all of which loved him and will miss him. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2013 from the Evergreen Cemetery in Santa Rosa with Mr. Keith Ross officiating.
