Pablo V. Montoya

Pablo V. Montoya, age 71, passed away on June 12, at the Guadalupe County Hospital following an illness. Pablo was born on March 15, 1942 in Santa Rosa, NM to the home of Luis Montoya and Predicanda Chacon Montoya. He was reared and attended schools in Santa Rosa. Pablo served in the United States Armed Services from 1959 through 1961. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He is preceded in death by his parents, an infant son Vicente Gabriel and his brother Eugenio Chacon. Survivors include his children, Yolanda, Enrico, Joaquin and Casiano, his companion of 25 years Mary Ann Bazan,10 grandchildren his stepson Carlos Zuniga, sisters and brother, Luisa Chappell and husband Jerry, Christina Esquibel and family, Patricia Montoya and Frutoso Montoya along with numerous nieces, nephews and family members. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 17, at 11:00 AM from the Church of Christ in Santa Rosa with Mr. Keith Ross officiating. Burial of cremains will follow at La Morada Cemetery. All services for Mr. Montoya have been entrusted to the Chavez Funeral Home of Santa Rosa.
