Joye L. Nolte

Services for former Fort Sumner resident Joye L. Nolte, age 93 will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, March 21, 2013 at the Chavez Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Sumner, NM, burial will follow at Taiban Cemetery. Mrs. Nolte died Friday, March 15, 2013 in Caldwell, Idaho. She was born January 1, 1923 in Henning, MN to the home of Victor A. and Sarah (Merdink) Bean. She was raised and attended school in Nampa, Idaho. Joye married John Willis Nolte on August 28, 1937 in Boise, Idaho. They made their home in Fort Sumner, NM from 2003-2010. In 2010 she moved to Indian Valley, Idaho. She is preceded in death by her husband John Willis Nolte on June 25, 2010, and her parents. Survivors include two sons, Richard Nolte and wife Diana of Indian Valley, Idaho and Kenneth Nolte and wife Pat of Port Aransas, Texas, a sister Bonnie Bean of New York, and two brothers Ray Bean and wife Lillian of Nampa, Idaho and Bloyd Bean of Mesa, AZ.
