Dalton Noe

Graveside services for Dalton Noe will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Fort Sumner Cemetery officiated by Dwayne Milliron, Past Master of Mount Moriah Lodge in Fort Sumner. Visitation hours will be Wednesday from 1pm to 6pm and Thursday from 10 am to 1:30 pm. Dalton died Friday, March 1, 2013 at All Care Assisted Living in Clovis, NM following an illness. Dalton Daniel Noe, 86 was born November 17, 1926 in Oakhill, Oklahoma, the 5th of 6 children born to Joseph and Mary (Lowe) Noe. Dalton is a World War II veteran, he served in the U.S. Army with the 511th Parachute Infantry Regiment. He was honorably discharged on November 29, 1946. Dalton married Delores Ann Lewis in Roswell, NM on March 15, 1958. Dalton worked as an Engineer for the New Mexico State Highway Department until his retirement. He later worked for Sam Sanders Materials in the Fort Sumner Valley for several years. For many years Dalton was in the small appliance repair business. According to his family he enjoyed working puzzles, reading western books, playing cards and was a great jokester. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fort Sumner, a 32nd Degree Mason at Mount Moriah Masonic Lodge #54, and a regular at the Addison Drug Store Coffee Drinkers Club. Dalton is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Delores who died April 22, 2009, three brothers Richart T. Noe 1946, Gavon Noe 1984, and Lawton Noe in 2011. Survivors include four children, 2 daughters Rexanne (Keith Wells) Proctor of Oklahoma City, OK, Tonikae Noe of Clovis, NM, 2 sons Brandal Noe and wife Venessa of Royce City, TX, and Tyesonn (Beverly Berry) Noe of Clovis, NM. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren Risha Schwartz of Oklahoma City, OK, Regan Livingston of Lawton, OK, Jordan Noe of Magdalena, NM, Dakota Noe and Brandon Noe both of Royce City, TX. Two great-grandchildren Tayler and Kaelee Livingston of Lawton, Oklahoma along with two sisters Thelma Stuart of Roswell and Sadie Green of Springfield, Oregon. Arrangements are under the direction of Chavez Funeral Home, 830 N. Third Street; Fort Sumner, New Mexico. (575) 355-2311.
