John Louie Romo, 55, passed away on January 11, 2013 at his home following an illness. Louie as he was affectionately known was born December 23, 1957 in Anton Chico, NM to the home of Victoria Romo. He enjoyed watching western movies, the Chicago Bulls and wrestling, listening to music, playing volleyball and riding his bike. Louie worked for many years for Mr. Ben Baca on the Baca farm and orchard. Louie is preceded in death by his mother Victoria, infant sister Christina and brother Isidro, his Aunts Juanita Romo and Nea Aragon, Uncle Hilario Aragon, cousins Ramon Romo, Benito Aragon, Rick Aragon, Bruno Aragon, Rick Romo and Edward Romo. Survivors include his sisters and brothers, Terry Baca and husband Narcisco of Dahlia, NM, Sara Lopez and husband Fred of Rio Rancho, Mary Ann Angel and husband Steve from San Jon, NM, Mary Alice Aragon and husband Eric of Santa Rosa, Thomas Romo of Santa Rosa, Pat Cowen and wife Christine of Albuquerque and his Aunt Virginia Romo. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of relatives and friends. Rosary services will be held on Tuesday, January 15, at 10:00 AM from St. Rose of Lima Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated immediately following the rosary and burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers will be Eric Aragon, Sr., Eric Aragon, Jr., Jason Aragon, Bryan Aragon, Javier Rodarte, Toby Angel, Gabriel Angel and Leon Trujillo.
