Monico E. Jaramillo

Monico E. Jarmamillo, 78, a longtime Anton Chico resident passed away on December 28, 2012 in Las Vegas, NM following an illness. Monico was born on June 19, 1934 in Anton Chico, NM to the home of Ramon and Felicita (Gonzales) Jaramillo. He was a long time cattle rancher in the Anton Chico area. He is preceded in death by his parents and a niece Annabelle Cordova, his sister Mela Maestas and a nephew Martin Jaramillo. Survivors include his brother and sisters, Terry Cordova of Clovis, Gabrielita Lucero of Colorado, Adelina Perea of Santa Rosa, Antonia Marquez of Clovis, Margaret Cos of California, Mary Ann Aguilar of Santa Rosa and Jerry Jaramillo also of Santa Rosa as well as numerous nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Rosary services will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 9:30 AM from St. Joseph Church in Anton Chico. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated immediately after the Rosary with Father Antonio Mondragon officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Anton Chico. Serving as Pallbearers will be, Esther Matta, John Cordova, Dwayne Velasquez, Jose Federico, Roberto Martha and Gilbert Lucero.
