Austin Lee Adams

Austin Adams, 17 passed away on Monday, November 26, 2012 in Santa Rosa, NM following a tragic automobile accident. Austin is the son of Talmadge (Bang) and Rose Adams and lived in Newkirk. He was a Senior at Santa Rosa High School. He is also survived by his paternal grandfather Homer Adams, biological mother Latricia Kilpatrick, and brother and sisters Talmadge J. (T.J.) Adams, Jessica Barnes, and Danyell Blanton, along with aunts, uncles, and cousins. Austin is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Judy Kilpatrick and by great-grandparents Talmadge and Chlorine Baines, and Hollis and Mae Adams. Visitation will be held at Chavez Funeral Home in Santa Rosa on Thursday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 P.M. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 30, 2012, in the Santa Rosa High School Auditorium with Pastor Josiah Koop officiating. Burial will follow at the Newkirk Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers will be; Chris Booth, Mike McLaughlin, Homer (Skeeter) DeWitt Adams, Nancy Watkins, Aaron Campos, Antonio Del Real, Karl Agar, Lyndsey Padilla. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be, Bill & Joan Ortiz, Sydney Higgins, Georgette Villanueva, P.J. Villanueva, Martin Garcia, DeWayne Velasquez, Andrew Melendez and the SRHS Class of 2013 Donations are being accepted at Santa Rosa High School to help with funeral expenses.
