Pamela Jean Newton

Pamela Jean Newton, 60 a resident of Lake Sumner, NM died Saturday, March 24, 2012 at her home following an illness. A gathering of family and friends will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 31, 2012 at her home, 7004 State Road 203, Lake Sumner, NM. Pam was born July 31, 1951 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of Joseph and Violet (Malcolm) Newton. Pamela distinguished herself as a professional welder and Navy Veteran. She will be missed by both family and friends. She was a thespian in her early years and a servant to America in later years. Pam helped everybody in need. God only sends a few like her! She is survived by her loving brother, Joseph Newton of Tijeras, NM; two nieces Sue Antoinette Chmura of Albuquerque and Violet Newton of Tijeras; three nephews Richard Atencio of Oklahoma, Samuel Atencio of Oklahoma and Jesse Newton of Tijeras, NM. Her great- nieces Melissa Palombo, Krista Golobic, Marlina Martinez and a great nephew William Martinez Jr. Arrangements are under the direction of Chavez Funeral Home in Fort Sumner.
